The Best Cookies in the Bay are Legendary

Lori’s Legendary Cookies is a local mother daughter company – started by Lori Nader and her two daughters, Adele and Lindsay. Lori was the founder of Blue Chip Cookies based in San Francisco in the 1980’s – a cookie company that grew to over 65 brick and mortar bakeries across the country! Lori is also the creator of the first White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookie… ever! In fact, at that time, white chocolate didn’t exist in chip form. The chocolate was cut by hand until Lori’s uncle created a machine to chop large blocks of white chocolate in to small chunks for the cookies. Shortly after, Lori contacted Guittard Chocolate Company and they made the first white chocolate chip – just for her! Of course, now, white chocolate chips are readily available and White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies are one of the most popular cookies out there.

Blue Chip Cookies was sold in the late 1990’s. Lori is back in the cookie business with her daughters, Adele and Lindsay, as Lori’s Legendary. Now three generations: Lori, raised in Walnut Creek and Adele and Lindsay, raised in Danville and attended San Ramon Valley High – as well as Adele’s daughter Gabrielle (10 months) who will surely be a part of the family business in no time!

Lori’s Legendary is more than just a cookie company. A portion of their proceeds are donated to local churches, ministry events and meaningful non profit organizations. Each bag of cookies also includes an inspirational message with ten life ingredients. They truly are “cookies to satisfy your sweet tooth and your soul.”

Lori’s Legendary Cookies are crispy, buttery and delicious – made with only the finest ingredients and unlike anything else on the market! They should come with a warning label… they are addictive and one is never enough!

Currently, Lori’s Legendary Cookies come in four varieties: Chocolate Chip Crisp, White Chocolate Chip Crisp, Cinnamon Crisp and Oatmeal Raisin Crisp. You can find Lori’s Legendary Cookies at: Diablo Foods in Lafayette, Gene’s Fine Foods in Pleasanton, Draeger’s Markets, and local pop-ups such as Spotted Cow in Martinez, WISH in Walnut Creek, and The Kitchen at Alamo Ace.
