White Chocolate Pumpkin Pie Shake

Fall is here! I certainly get tons of amusement from watching people try to sneak pumpkins into anything and everything the minute fall arrives. Pumpkin soaps, pumpkin candles, and even pumpkin beer (I’ll pass on the beer). So, I may as well join everybody that’s on the pumpkin bandwagon with a boozy pumpkin treat to enjoy while the weather is still warm. If you have a pumpkin spice latte lover in your family, this shake is sure to impress. It can also be made without alcohol.

Serves:

Either 2 small, or 1 large drink

You will need:

1 C. Ice
2 C. Vanilla ice cream
1/2 C. Milk
1/2 tsp. Pumpkin pie spice mix, plus extra for garnish
1/2 tsp. Brown sugar
3 tsp Pumpkin purée
1/4 C. White chocolate Liqueur, such as Godiva (optional)
Whipped cream for topping

Putting it together:

In a blender, combined the ice, vanilla ice cream, pumpkin purée, pumpkin pie spice, brown sugar, and white chocolate liqueur and blend until smooth, roughly between 30 seconds and one minute. Pour into a chilled cocktail glass and top with whipped cream and a dash of pie spice.
